German forward of Ghanaian descent, Ansgar Knauff scored the fastest goal in the UEFA Europa League this season on Thursday night as he scored in the first minute of Frankfurt’s 2-1 win against West Ham United.

Today at the Olympic Stadium in England, Ansgar Knauff started for Frankfurt when the team locked horns with West Ham United in the first leg of the semifinal game in the Europa League.
In the first minute of the game, the youngster was presented with a fine chance and made no mistake as he found the back of the net of the home team in style.
While Michail Antonio would bring West Ham United level in the 21st minute, a strike from Daichi Kamada in the 52nd minute sealed the vital away win for Frankfurt at the end of the exciting contest.
