Ghanaian forward Issah Abass nets brace for Rijeka in 7-0 mauling of Pitomaca
Ghanaian international, Issah Abass netted a brace for HNK Rijeka on Tuesday afternoon when the team posted a huge 7-0 win over Pitomaca in the Croatian domestic cup competition.
The youngster since joining the Croatian top-flight league side has displayed top form and has managed to established himself as one of the best players of his team.
Today, he featured for Rijeka when the team played as a guest to Pitomaca in the Round 32 game of the Croatian Domestic Cup competition.
Excelling in his role in the attack, Issah Abass found the back of the net twice in the second half.
In addition to goals from Jorge Obregion, Matej Vuk, Harris Vuckic, and Denis Busnja, Rijeka cruised to a 7-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
Courtesy of the big win, Issah Abass and his Rijeka club are through to the Round 16 stage of the Croatian Cup.
