Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi could still leave Hannover 96
Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi could still make an exit from Hannover 96 this summer.
The former Deportivo Alaves players has fallen out of favour at Hannover 96 and was linked with a move in the summer transfer window.
However, after failing to secure a move away from the club, the Black Stars forward returned to first team training last week.
But his exclusion from the 20-man squad for the St Pauli game in the German Bundesliga could trigger his move from the club this summer.
Though the summer transfer window has been shut but Footballghana.com understands Twumasi can still make a move as countries like Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar Ghana and others have their window opened.
Hannover 96 sports director Marcus Mann and coach Jan Zimmermann hopes the Ghanaian forward finds a new club.
Twumasi signed for Hannover at the start of last season. He scored three goals and assisted two in 24 matches.
His unimpressive debut season appears to be the reason head coach Zimmermann doesn’t count on him this season.
Twumasi has not made a single appearance for Hannover and sat on the bench in their last four games.
