Ghanaian midfielder Sabit Abdulai suffers knee injury while in action for Getafe
Ghanaian international, Sabit Abdulai has suffered a knee injury and is set to undergo checks today.
The midfielder is on loan at Getafe B after moving from Spanish lower-tier outfit Extremadura UD.
Due to his talent, he has in the last few weeks been training with the senior team of Getafe.
On Wednesday when Getafe hosted Stade Rennais FC in a friendly match, Sabit Abdulai featured as they won 2-1 at the end of the exercise.
Unfortunately, the young midfielder picked up a knee injury and had to go off. The 22-year-old is now set to undergo checks in Madrid to ascertain the extent of the injury.
Information gathered from sources is that the injury is not serious but Getafe wants to have it sorted before the start of the 2021/2022 football season.
