Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Darpoh part ways with South Africa side AmaZulu FC
Ghanaian international, Samuel Darpoh has seen his contract with South African club AmaZulu FC terminated, footballghana.com can report.
The defensive midfielder joined the club in 2016 from Ghanaian outfit Okwawu United.
Although he had been a key player for the South African club in his first few seasons, last season was particularly a difficult one.
He failed to impress alongside some other players and lost favour in the eyes of head coach Benni McCarthy and the other technical staff.
According to information gathered from South African outlets, although Samuel Darpoh has a year remaining on his contract, officials of AmaZulu FC have terminated the deal.
Hence, the 23-year-old midfielder has become a free agent and will have to look for a new club before the start of the 2021/2022 football season.
Checks have revealed that there are a couple of teams in South Africa interested in his services.
