Ghanaian striker Sadat Karim delighted to score for Halmstad BK in win over Helsingborg IF
Ghanaian international, Sadat Karim has expressed his delight after scoring for Halmstad BK in their 1-0 win over Helsingborg IF in the Allsvenskan relegation play-offs in Sweden on Saturday.
Although the team put up a good fight in the regular season, they could not earn the needed results to stay in the safe zone.
As a result, Halmstad BK are forced to play in the relegation playoff of the Allsvenskan.
Needed a win over two legs to enhance chances of staying in the Swedish top-flight league, Sadat Karim and his teammates secured victory from the first leg.
“Alhamdulillah. Really important victory today. Thanks to all the fans that travelled to support us throughout the game. We stay focus until the end. See you at Orjans on Tuesday,” Karim wrote on his Twitter handle.

The Ghanaian striker, who featured for his team scored the decisive goal for his team in the 7th minute of the first half after an assist from Samuel Kroon to cruise to the 1-0 win at the end of the contest at the Olympia Stadium in Helsingborg.
The reverse fixture is now scheduled to be played on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Orjans Vall Stadium in Halmstad.
