Ghanaian teenager Brian Oddei elated with move to Italian outfit Crotone
Ghanaian international, Brian Oddei says he is excited to have joined Italian Serie B outfit Crotone this summer.
After stressful talks this summer, the teenager finally sealed a move to the Italian club on transfer deadline day to provide a squad boost for the side.
Speaking in an interview, Brian Oddei says he is elated to be part of a squad fighting to return to the Serie A.
“I have a lot of expectations, I’m happy to be here, I’m ready to do everything and give my best on and off the pitch, and I’m here to do the good of the team.”
“I like to play with the ball between my feet, stay wide, or even concentrate, or even stay in the middle to play, I enjoy it like this, and this year I hope to show my qualities on the pitch and give it your all,” the 18-year-old said as quoted on Ilrossoblu.it.
Brian Oddei continued, “I had a positive impression, a good group, good guys, many young people like me, with one goal, that is to do well this year, we are all ready to take the field and do our best for this team and these colors, and we hope it’s a good year, and I’m sure we will.”
The former Sassuolo man is expected to play a key role for Crotone in the 2021/2022 football season.
He can operate from the flanks, play through the middle, and even lead the lines when needed.
