Ghanaian youngster Michael Akoto recovers from injury to feature for Dynamo Dresden in draw against Kiel
Ghanaian international, Michael Akoto recovered from an injury on Saturday to feature for his Dynamo Dresden outfit in the game against Holstein Kiel in the German Bundesliga 2.
The full-back became a doubt for the clash against the matchday opponent after he picked an injury during the team’s training on Friday.
After assessment by the medical team of the club today, the 24-year-old was given the clearance before kick off of the clash against Holstein Kiel.
As a result, the defender started the game and lasted the entire duration of the tough contest.
He was key for his team and helped the side to earn a point from a goalless draw at the end of the 90 minutes.
This season, Michael Akoto has made 27 appearances for Dynamo Dresden in the German Bundesliga 2.
He has registered one assist and is hoping to help his team to survive the drop at the end of the 2021/22 season.
