Ghanaian youngster Najeeb Yakubu grabbed his maiden assist of the season for Vorskla Poltava in their 4-2 home victory against Zorya Luhansk in the Ukraine.

Yakubu assisted Ruslan Stepanyuk for his side’s opening goal of the match as they went to win big on the day.

The 20-year old registered his first assist in 18 appearances for Vorskla Poltava in the top flight league this season.

Najeeb Yakubu has been consistent for the Ukrainian side since joining the club last season.

Vorskla Poltava sit 4th on the league table after 22 league games with 37 points
