Ghanaian youngster Richmond Antwi finishes debut Phoenix Rising FC pre-season with 3 goals
Ghanaian youngster, Richmond Antwi has finished his maiden Phoenix Rising FC pre-season with an impressive three goals.
The attacker was signed by the USL Championship outfit in December 2021 to provide a squad boost for the team.
Later at the beginning of February, he arrived in the US to commence the first year of his stint with the side.
Since then he has worked hard in training and earned minutes in a couple of friendly matches.
On Saturday, March 5, 2022, when Phoenix Rising FC had the chance to wrap up its pre-season scheduled matches, Richmond Antwi was a starter in the game against Grand Canyon University.
In the 17th minute of the friendly match, the talented winger scored with a fine effort to inspire his team to come from behind to record a 3-2 win at the end of the exercise.
That goal saw Richmond Antwi increase his tally of pre-season goals to three. He is now geared up for the start of the 2022 USL Championship season.
