Ghana’s Ambassador to Qatar confident Black Stars will win AFCON 2021 and secure World Cup qualification

Ghana’s Ambassador to Qatar His Excellency Dr Emmanuel Enos is confident about the Black Stars chances ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The four-time African Champions is among the 24 country’s set to battle for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations title in Cameroon.

The much-anticipated tournament has been slated between January 9 and February 6, 2022 in the Central Africa country.

The Ambassador who visited the team in Doha, Qatar on Friday in his address expressed optimism about Ghana winning the AFCON tournament and also securing 2022 World Cup slot.

The Black Stars is among the 10 teams that have qualified for the final play-offs in March 2022.

‘’It is not just a sheer coincidence that you are here in Qatar – and for us at the Embassy we see it as a good step to build a camaraderie between the GFA and the Embassy. I wish you well. I wish you good luck and I believe that we will bring home the trophy and also qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup’’ he said.
