Ghana’s Kamal Sowah reacts to debut Champions League appearance with Club Brugge
Ghanaian midfielder Kamal Sowah has reacted to his debut Champions League appearance with Belgian side Club Brugge.
The enterprising winger joined the Belgian outfit last summer from Leicester City but failed to live up to expectations.
However, he was farmed out on loan to Dutch side AZ Alkmaar during the January transfer window and been excellent.
He featured 9 times for Club Brugge with 4 coming from the Champions League before his departure from the club.
According to Sowah, playing in the Champions League has always been his dream and was pleased to feature in the Europe top-flight competition.
“Playing in the Champions League has always been one of my dreams. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the Club Brugge group: Manchester City, PSG and RB Leipzig”
“I started of four of the six group games, and I will never forget the first one in particular, against PSG. We drew, I was in the game and it was the first time my mother saw me at the television. It made him even more special,” he told Voetbal International.
