Ghana’s Nana Ampomah heads to China
Ghana international Nana Opoku Ampomah will be heading to China to join his fellow countrymen in the Chinese Super League, the Ghanaian media has reported.
Ampomah who is on loan at Royal Antwerp from Fortuna Dusseldorf has attracted interest from an unnamed Chinese club.
Reports indicate that talks between his representatives and the club are far advanced and the Ghanaian could be playing in the Suoper League soon.
Having joined Fortuna Dusseldorf in Germany following a successful spell as Waasland Beveren, the forward had a torrid 2019/20 season forcing a loan move to Antwerp.
However, the switch has not worked for the player, who is believed to be unhappy and is forcing a deal out from his parent club.
Royal Antwerp have the option of making the player’s loan deal a permanent one, but it looks like he is headed to China.
He has a year left on his contract with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
