Gideon Mensah in 10 days quarantine after reporting at Bordeaux, set to miss two games
Ghana international Gideon Mensah will miss Bordeaux clashes against Lens and Saint-Etienne in the French Ligue 1 due to Covid-19 health protocols.
The left-back travelled to Africa for the just ended opening two 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and will now have to quarantine for 7 to 10 days.
He will not be in action this weekend against Lens and is expected to miss matchday 6 in the Ligue 1.
Mensah missed the Black Stars game against Ethiopia at the Cape Coast stadium but lasted the entire duration in Ghana’s 1-0 defeat to South Africa.
The 23-year-old has been instrumental since joining the club in the summer transfer window.
