Fiaseman Royals goalkeeper m Yvonne Kaputey was adjudged the woman of the match despite conceding 24 goals in a single game on Monday, February 7, 2022.
Fiaseman Royals FC suffered a 24-0 humiliation defeat against Hasaacas Ladies in Ghana’s Women FA Cup preliminary round at the Gyandu Park on Monday.
The Ghana Women’s Champions showed hammered and annihilated the inexperienced Fiaseman Royals FC side on the day with Veronica Appiah scoring seven goals on the day.
The scoreline could have been worse as Hasaacas Ladies were determined to add more insult to the injury but 15 year goalkeeper, Yvonne Kaputey became the hero for Fiaseman Royals with some incredible saves.
The entire duration of the game was between the fearsome Hasaacas Ladies attackers as against the young Yvonne who was left to her fate by her ten teammates on the field.
It could have been worse on the day if not the wonderful goalkeeping by Yvonne Kaputey.
The goalkeeper was awarded the woman of the match after the end of the game following her exceptional display on the day.
