GPL 21/22 Match Report: Eleven Wonders rally from behind to secure vital point
Eleven Wonders came from behind to earn a vital point against Berekum Chelsea on Monday afternoon in the Ghana Premier League.
The hosts were seeking to build on last week’s impressive win at Obuasi where they beat the Miners by 4-1.
Berekum Chelsea got off to the best possible start as Osei Owusu put the visitors ahead early in the first half.
The hosts weren’t ruffled by the early set back as they consistently laid seige on the Chelsea goal area.
Eleven Wonders’ efforts were finally rewarded as they managed to grab an equaliser through Sumaila Moro on the stroke of half-time.
Neither side was able to gain the advantage before the end of regulation time as they had to share the spoils.
The result means Chelsea extend their unbeaten run to 6 games without a defeat whilst Wonders secure a valuable point in their pursuit to avoid the drop
