Great Olympics set to sign Frimpong Boateng from King Faisal
Accra Great Olympics is set to sign midfielder Frimpong Boateng, who played a key role for King Faisal last season.
In the just concluded season, Olympics finished in the top six, ranking sixth on the league standings with 52 points, having battled for the ultimate throughout the majority of the season but tragically missing out in the last days.
Despite the loss of captain Gladson Awako, the ‘Dade’ boys is still hoping to acquire a few signings in order to create a formidable side that may drive them to the league championship next season.
Frimpong Boateng helped the ‘Insha Allah’ boys escape relegation, and he was also a member of the Black Meteors team that recently faced Japan and South Korea in a friendly.
According to the reports, he is in advanced negotiations with Great Olympics, with a transfer to the Accra based club looming in the coming weeks.
