Gyan absent as Stephen Appiah names his top 5 Black Star Players

Former Black Stars Captain, Stephen Appiah has named his list of top 5 Black Stars players and a notable absentee is Ghana’s all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan.

The two players are regarded amongst the greatest players to ever play for the national team of the West African country.

Besides playing in the same Black Stars team in the AFCON, Stephen Appiah and Asamoah Gyan were both in the squad that played for Ghana at the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup tournaments.

Today, Stephen Appiah in a reaction to a post from Betway Ghana that sought for followers to name their top 5 Black Stars players Asamoah Gyan was absent from Appiah’s list.

Appiah’s list included several legends such Abedi Pele, Tony Yeboah, Micheal Essien & Richard Kingson.
