Hasaacas Ladies coach Basigi delighted with signings of Jafaru Rahama and Issaka Lauratu
Hasaacas Ladies head coach, Yusif Basigi is happy with the signings of Jafaru Rahama and Issaka Lauratu ahead of the WAFU Zone B Women’s Championship.
Rahama, 19, joins the club from Northern Ladies FC, having clinched the top scorer award in the 2020/21 Women’s FA Cup by scoring nine goals.
Lauratu, 17, also joins the club from Mfantseman Royal FC where she was a key cog of the team. She is a center-back, who impressed in their friendly encounter with her former side prior to the start of the 2020/21 Women’s Football Season.
According to Yusif Basigi, these two players are perfect fits and they’ll complement the effort of the team.
“Jafaru is a good addition to the squad. She’s dependable in front of goal and I’ve watched her play so I know what she can do,” he told the club’s official website.
“Issaka Lauratu is young but plays well, I’m convinced the couple of times I watched her play she’s going to add more to our defensive cover.”
Hasaacas Ladies are currently preparing at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence Prampram ahead of the trip to Cote D’Ivoire for the WAFU Zone B Women’s Championship.
