Hearts fly Daniel Kodie to South Africa for treatment after long injury layoff

Hearts of Oak midfielder Daniel Kodie has been flown to South Africa to undergo his long awaited surgery.

The Ghanaian midfielder has been out injured for over a year and currently in a very bad state.

Kodie got injured while playing for the Accra based club during NC special competition organized by the normalization committee. The midfielder has been left to his fate after the injury.

While it is said that he could not play again without the needed surgery, it is understood that the cry of fans has finally be heard by the management of the club.

The player on Tuesday accompanied by Board member of the club Alhaji Akanbi departed to South Africa for his surgery.

They are expected to have a pre surgery discussions on Wednesday before the surgery will take place on Thursday May 13, 2021.
