Hearts of Oak forward Daniel Afriyie speaks ahead of CI Kamsar Champions League clash

Hearts of Oak star Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is confident about his side chances ahead of their crucial Champions League game against Guinean side CI Kamsar.

The two-legged game will now be played as a one-off tie following the political unrest in Guinea.

The first leg was supposed to have been played on September 12 but had to be postponed due to the political instability in the country.

Speaking after Hearts victory over lower-tier side Banana Inn FC in a friendly on Wednesday, Barnie stressed how important it is for his side to win the game.

“It’s a special game. It is a one-off game so everyone will play for victory” Barnie explained.

“We have confidence we can play like it’s a normal game. It’s important of course but in the end, our target is just one target: we need to win the game and advance to the next stage of the competition.” He told Phobiannews.com

The much-anticipated game has been scheduled for Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 4pm.
