Hertha Berlin means everything to me- Boateng
Ghanaian midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng has emphasized on how much German outfit Hertha Berlin means to him.
The 34-year-old started his professional career at Berlin before moving on to other clubs like Portsmouth, AC Milan, Barcelona among others.
“I tattooed the flag because I want people to know that this club is everything to me. You gave me the chance to become a professional. To be a Berlin boy is something special. You are a street boy. If you grew up in Berlin, you know how the world works. We used to know what Hertha was: the way out, out of this street thinking. That’s when I met people like Niko Kovac who trained me,” he told German publication Bild.
He has now returned to Berlin where he hopes to finish his career.
