"I have accomplished my mission at King Faisal" - Danlad Ibrahim

Danlad Ibrahim, King Faisal goalkeeper says he has accomplished his mission after helping the club to survive from the drop.

The goalkeeper who joined the club on-loan from Asante Kotoko during the second round of the season was vital for their survival keeping six clean sheets in nine games.

According to him, the main reason he joined the club was to help them to maintain their status in the Ghanaian top-flight and he has succeeded in achieving that.

“It’s a dream come true, the mission was to help King Faisal survive and here we are still in the league.

“Knowing a win will help them survive, the game was a very difficult one hence we were very cautious on the field of play.

“Throughout the week, we prepared very well because we wanted to better our CVs and I think the long week of preparation has paid off.

Despite spending 27 matchdays  in the relegation zone king Faisal produced a spirited Performance in the last games to maintain their status in the Ghana Premier League.
