I pray we win the league at the end of the season, says Kotoko board member Kwadwo Boateng
A member of the Asante Kotoko board, Kwadwo Boateng Genfi has noted that he has been overly impressed with the performance of Asante Kotoko this season.
Speaking to Rainbow Radio in an interview, the board member noted that he prays by the time the 2021/22 league campaign comes to an end, the Porcupine Warriors will be crowned champions.
“The team is playing well and I pray we win the league title,” Kwadwo Boateng Genfi shared.
Asante Kotoko finished the first round of the Ghana Premier League season sitting pretty at the top with a seven points gap over second-placed Bechem United.
The Asante Kotoko board member further disclosed that there are considerations to extend the mandate of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nana Yaw Amponsah.
“I congratulate our Chief Executive Officer [CEO], Nana Yaw Amponsah for a great job so far for Asante Kotoko.
“We are considering allowing him to continue beyond his tenure,” Kwadwo Boateng Genfi added.
