Ignatius Osei Fosu bags 90k US Dollars making him second highest paid coach
According to 442gh.com Ignatius Osei Fosu, the newly recruited coach of Medeama SC will be worth $90,000 at the completion of his three-year deal.
Osei Fosu, who signed a three-year contract to manage the Yellow and Mauves, would become Ghana Premier League’s second highest-paid coach, after Asante Kotoko’s Mariano Barreto, who earns $6,500 per month.
Following a successful contract to take over the former FA Cup champions, the former Eleven Wonders manager is on a 2,500 US dollar monthly wage.
If the coach wins the Ghana Premier League and qualifies the team for the Africa Inter Club Championship, the whole cash package, including signing on fees, might reach over 120,000 US Dollars.
Ignatius Osei Fosu played a key role in Eleven Wonders’ survival in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League following a difficult season that saw his team stay in the top division till the last game.
