I’m monitoring 15 goalkeepers for Ghana – Richard Kingson
Goalkeepers trainer for the Ghana national team, Richard Kingson has disclosed that he is currently monitoring 15 goalkeepers for the Black Stars.
The former Black Stars goalkeeper has been criticized in recent times for making what people term as wrong recommendations for the choice of national team goalkeepers.
Speaking to GTV Sports Plus in an interview, Richard Kingson has opened up on how he is keeping tabs on a number of shot-stoppers for the national team.
“I have about 15 goalkeepers that I am monitoring for Ghana. Some are in Africa especially Mutawakilu Seidu, Annan of West Ham and a host of others,” the goalkeeper popularly known as Olele shared.
He will recommend goalkeepers for new head coach Otto Addo next month when Ghana takes on Nigeria.
The Black Stars will lock horns with the Super Eagles in the final round of the qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
