In-form Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru tipped to start for Anderlecht against Genk
Ghana international, Majeed Ashimeru is in line to start for RSC Anderlecht next weekend when the team takes on KRC Genk in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
The former WAFA SC poster boy in the last few matches of his team was a started and paid his manager in kind with excellent displays that saw the team record wins.
Over the past weekend, Majeed Ashimeru assisted a goal for the Purple outfit as they recorded a massive 2-1 win away at Zulte Waregem.
Due to his red-hot form from the last two matches, the player is now tipped to start ahead of regular midfielder Kristoffer Olsson.
The Black Stars asset has shown without doubt that when in the driving seat of the RSC Anderlecht midfield, he can be a real threat.
In the game against KRC Genk, Majeed Ashimeru would have a big role to play if he should start.
He needs the regular playing time to audition for a place in the Ghana national team ahead of the crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying games against Nigeria next month.
