Injured Jordi Osei-Tutu set to return to action after international break
England-born Ghanaian defender, Jordi Osei-Tutu will be back in action for Nottingham Forest after the international break, footballghana.com can report.
The defender who joined the English Championship club on loan from Arsenal has been unlucky with injuries in the past year.
Last month, he suffered a recurring hamstring injury that saw him being ruled out of action for at least three weeks.
Although he has made progress in the treatment room, he still is not out of the woods and needs another week to fully recover.
According to information gathered, he will start training with his Nottingham Forest teammates on October 5 during the international break.
Subsequently when club football returns, he will be in good shape to fight for a place in the first team for a return to action.
Under new head coach Steve Cooper, Jordi Osei-Tutu will hope to prove his worth in training in order to earn a place in the starting eleven.
