It feels great, I’m incredibly happy – Ghanaian winger Ansgar Knauff reacts to first Frankfurt goal
German-born attacker of Ghanaian descent, Ansgar Knauff has expressed his excitement after netting his debut goal for Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga.
The youngster is on loan at the club from fellow Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.
Last Saturday, Ansgar Knauff was in action for Eintracht Frankfurt when the team faced off with Hertha Berlin.
On the matchday, the talented attacker scored in the 17th minute to inspire his team to cruise to a 4-1 win.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Ansgar Knauff stressed that the first goal for his club means a lot to him.
“It feels great, it was a great game for the whole team, I’m incredibly happy about my first goal,” the forward told German media outlet “ARD” after the Hertha Berlin game.
Gradually picking up pace at Frankfurt, Ansgar Knauff is hoping to return to Dortmund to command a place in the starting eleven.
