"Its difficult watching my teammates play"- Injured Alabi hoping to return to the pitch soon

FC Luzern injured midfielder Samuel Alabi has revealed it is difficult to watch his teammates play whiles he finds himself in the treatment room.

The former Dreams FC play maker suffered a knee injury in March this year and has since been out of the for the club.

The attacking midfielder is recovering very well and responding to his rehab as he eyes a quick return to the rectangular surface.

Alabi remains hopeful he could yet return very soon and help the side.

“It’s football everything happens for a reason. You have to accept what is at hand. It’s difficult to watch my teammates. Sometimes I feel like it’s supposed to be me playing but you can’t change it it’s what it’s.

“I always support them from afar. Make sure everything goes well. When they win I win also.its very difficult but I understand it’s football. I just need to focus and concentrate on my recovery process. So that I can join them as soon as possible”

The midfielder joined the Swiss side from Israeli side FC Ashdod where he spent a season after his move from Dreams FC.

He signed a 4-year contract that will run until June 30, 2024 and will intensify the FC Luzern offensive in the future.
