Jeremy Doku departure to Liverpool to aid Kamaldeen to flourish at Rennes
Belgian forward Jeremy Doku proposed move to English Premier League giants could aid Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana top flourish at Stade Rennes.
The 19-year-old joined the French Ligue 1 outfit in the ongoing transfer window from Danish club FC Nordjaelland after a superlative performance last season.
It has emerged Kamaldeen was bought as a replacement for Jeremy Doku who could leave the club this summer as Liverpool rekindle their interest to land the player.
According to Portuguese journalist, Pedro Almeida, the six-time Champions League winners are back in the haunt for the Belgian star and are preparing to open talks with Rennes.
It is believed Rennes will not accept anything less than € 45m for the highly rated player, but a move to Anfield is possible for Doku
The duo has similar qualities; however, the departure of Doku from Rennes will help the Ghanaian winger to flourish.
Kamaldeen, who joined the French Ligue 1 outfit this summer made an electric start to life at Rennes when he scored within 15 minutes of his league debut last Sunday.
The summer signing curled his finish into the far corner after a quick counter to give his side the lead against Lens.
