Joining Cartagena is a good move for my career, says Dauda Mohammed
Ghanaian international, Dauda Mohammed says he believes joining Spanish lower-tier outfit Cartagena is a good move for his career.
The forward looked set to stay put at RSC Anderlecht but was loaned out last minute to go and play in Spain.
Speaking in an interview after settling in, Dauda Mohammed has opened up on why he joined Cartagena.
“I come to Cartagena because I love this project. I think this move is good for my career,” the Ghanaian striker said in an interview with La Verdad.
For Cartagena sports director Manolo Sanchez Breis, he is confident Dauda Mohammed will be a hit very soon to attract a lot of attention.
“What bothers me the most is that we don’t have this player in our possession. He will teach us many things. He is a footballer who will soon be talked about a lot,” he said.
At Cartagena, Dauda Mohammed is expected to have a key role to play to help the club gain promotion.
