Joseph Paintsil gets debut start as Black Stars face Algeria
Sensational Attacker Joseph Paintsil has been handed his first selection into the Black Stars starting team as Ghana play Algeria this afternoon.
The Belgium-based player is part of Ghana’s final squad for the upcoming AFCON 2021 tournament after attracting the attention of the national team handlers due to his superb form for his club.
Paintsil has been hot on attack. for KRC Genk this season domestically and in the UEFA Europa League this season.
He has been included in Coach Milovan Rajevac’s starting eleven for the pre-tournament friendly with the reigning African Champions champions where he is expected to dazzle
Paintsil will also be expected to demonstrate his versatility as he alternate roles and positions in the attacking areas of the game for Ghana.
