Kamaldeen Sulemana out of Rennes game against Troyes due to injury
Due to a back injury, attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana will miss Rennes’ match against Troyes on Sunday.
Sulemana has been ruled out of the Ligue 1 clash at Roazhon Park, according to the club.
“Kamaldeen Sulemana is out for a back problem,” coach Bruno Genesio said at the pre-match presser.
It’s a major setback for Rennes, who came into the game hoping to get back on track after a 1-0 loss to PSG the weekend before.
Sulemana entered the game in the final ten minutes. It was his 20th league appearance of the season, but his second straight after returning from the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
In all competitions, the former FC Nordsjaelland player has been involved in seven goals, scoring five and assisting on two.
