Kamaldeen Sulemana shatters transfer record at FC Nordsjaelland with €21 move to Rennais

Ghana prodigy Kamaldeen Sulemana has shattered FC Nordsjaelland’s transfer record following his €21m move to French side Stade Rennais, Footballghana.com can exclusively report.

The French outfit paid the staggering figure to secure the services of the talented winger ahead of the 2021/22 football season.

The 19-year old, who has been a subject of transfer between Stade Rennes, Manchester United, Liverpool,and Ajax chose to play in the French top-flight next season.

He has, however, broken the transfer record at FC Nordsjaelland previously held by compatriot Kudus Mohammed.

Sulemana’s former teammate Kudus Mohammed €9m move to Ajax last year became a transfer record at the club but he has surpassed it following his big money to Rennes.

The highly rated attacker is now the most expensive player for FC Nordsjaelland which is a huge achievement considering the array of talented players produced by the impressive Danish club.

Sulemana had a descent campaign last season scoring 10 goals and providing 8 assists in 29 appearances.

He has two caps for the Ghana national team after making his debut in October 2020 in international friendlies against Mali and Qatar.
