Kevin-Prince Boateng explains why he tattooed Hertha Berlin’s flag
Former Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng says he tattooed Hertha Berlin’s flag to let people know the club is everything to him.
The experienced forward returned to the club as a free agent after 14-years after his deal with Italian Serie B side AC Monza expired at the end of last season.
He penned a two-year contract which will see him at the Olympia stadion until 2022.
Boateng stunned supporters of Hertha Berlin as he celebrated his return to the club with a tattoo of the club’s flag.
“I tattooed the flag because I want people to know that this club is everything to me. You gave me the chance to become a professional … To be a Berlin boy is something special. You are a street boy. If you grew up in Berlin, you know how the world is” he said.
