King Faisal attacker Zubairu Ibrahim heaps praise on Coach Nurudeen Ahmed, tells Alhaji Gruzah to keep him at the club
King Faisal youngstar Zubairu Ibrahim has lavished praise on Coach Nurudeen Ahmed after guiding the club to maintain their status in the Ghana Premier League.
The veteran coach defied all odds to keep the Insha Allah boys in the Ghanaian top-flight in what was a difficult situation.
Coach Ahmed lost one, drew three and won three of the seven games he managed at the club.
Speaking on the performance of the coach, Ibrahim who scored five goals in King Faisal’s last seven games was full of praise for the former New Edubiase coach.
“Judging from the performance of our local coaches this season, I doubt if Alhaji Grusah will opt for a foreign again”.
“Our coach (Nurudeen Ahmed) is very good, his training programs shows he is a very good coach so I want the club to maintain him,” Zubairu told Kumasi based OTEC FM
“I’m happy Alhaji [Grusah] witnessed our situation and performances of the team during the season when the foreign coaches came in. I will be surprised if we (King Faisal) begin the season with a foreign coach” He added.
Meanwhile Coach Nurudeen Ahmed has hinted he might not continue at the club after his side’s goalless draw against Liberty Professionals.
