Latif Anabila wants contract with Asante Kotoko terminated
Asante Kotoko midfielder Latif Anabila has asked the club to terminate his contract at the end of the season according to report,
Anabila signed a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors October 2020 after ending his spell with Ashantigold.
The player has fallen out of favour at the club since the arrival of head coach Mariano Barreto.
Anabila has lost his place in the starting line-up and is often not included in the matchday squad since Barreto took charge.
In the 15 league games Kotoko have played under Barreto, Anabila has played 157 minutes while missing out on the squad nine times.
The situation has forced the player to write to the under-fire Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah demanding contract termination.
