Legendary Sammy Adjei joins Kenpong Academy as new goalkeeper's trainer

Former Ghana international, Sammy Adjei has been named as the new goalkeeper’s trainer of Kenpong Football Academy.

Adjei is well known for his experience having starred in the Ghana Premier League for decades with Hearts of Oak.

“Legendary Goalkeeper Sammy Adjei joins Kenpong Academy,” a club statement said.

“Former Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak safest pair of hands Sammy Adjei has been appointed as the new Goalkeeper’s Trainer for fast-rising Kenpong Football Academy.”

Adjei was a member of the Black Stars squad that played in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

He also played in the 2006 and 2008 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON].

Adjei played for Club Africain, Ashdod and made over 30 appearances during his day with the Black Stars.

Kenpong Football Academy is owned by Ghanaian business guru, Kennedy Agyepong.
