Majeed Ashimeru expected to join Black Stars for 2021 AFCON
Anderlecht midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru, is expected to team up with the rest of the Black Stars team for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The competition is expected to start on January 10,2022 and end on February 6,2022. This is due to the impact of COVID-19 which shifted the competition’s date.
It is believed that Anderlecht expects Ashimeru to be unavailable for the club for a month and preparations are being made to play well in his absence.
Ghana will play in the tournament with the hopes of winning their fifth title after going on a drought which has lasted over three decades.
