Majeed Ashimeru named in Jupiler Pro League team of the week
In form attacking midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru has been named in Jupiler Pro League team of the week after his wonderful performance for Anderlecht.
The Ghana international was at his best for Vincent Kompany’s side last Saturday, as they defeated Genk 2-0 at home.
Ashimeru scored the first goal and played 82 minutes.
With an 8.0 rating, he was the second best player on the field. The attacking midfielder has not been playing much for Anderlecht but he has grabbed the opportunity to shine and show coach Vincent Kompany he is the man to help the team.
Majeed joined Belgium Jupiler Pro League giants RSA Anderlecht on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell. The 23-year-old playmaker signed a four-year deal that will keep him at the club until June 2025.
