Major boost for Mallorca ahead of Copa del Rey quarter-finals as Baba Iddrisu reports to camp
Spanish outfit, RCD Mallorca have been handed a major squad boost ahead of the game against Vallecano in the Cope del Rey next week following the return to training of midfielder Baba Iddrisu.
The RCD Mallorca midfield enforcer is one of 27 players that travelled to Cameroon with Ghana to battle for the country in this year’s continental showdown.
The player excelled for the Black Star but unfortunately, his side failed to advance past the group stage after they failed to win any of the three games.
After being given a few days to rest after the AFCON, Baba Iddrisu has finally returned to training with his teammates at RCD Mallorca.
The player brought smiles to the team’s training grounds on Tuesday when he arrived at the facilities at Son Bibilini to train with his team.
He is expected to be a key man for the Spanish club this weekend when the team takes on Rayo Vallecano in the Copa del Rey.
Mallorca are keen on enjoying a win to sail through the quarter-finals to the semis of the domestic cup competition.
