Great Olympics lost further grounds in the Ghana Premier League title chase following a pummeling at the hands of Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs.

Dwarfs welcomed Olympics to the Cape Coast stadium for this Match Week 21 encounter on Saturday.

The home side found themselves in a tricky situation, needing a win to avert any entanglement with a relegation fight.

They started the game in brilliant fashion netting the first goal to unsettle the visitors. Simon Martey scored after 26 minutes.

Dwarfs continued to dominate and got a second goal right before the break, this time Elia Kofi Junior being the scorer.

Back from the break, Dwarfs continued from where they left off, with Michael Asamoah netting the third goal for his side just three minutes into the second half.

They added to their lead to the make it four in the 88th minute before Gladson Awako scored a beautiful consolation goal 2 minutes later.

The result further dents Great Olympics’ title chances. They now lie 3rd on 34 points, 2 behind league leaders, Medeama SC.

Ebusua Dwarfs move to 27 points and now lie 9th on the table.

Other Match Week 21 fixtures continue on Sunday.
