Liberty Professionals continued their resurgence in the Ghana Premier League by beating Eleven Wonders 0-1 at the Obuasi Len Stadium.

A second half strike from Kweku Karikari was enough to hand the relegation threatened side a boost in their chase for survival.

Eleven Wonders started the game very well dominating proceedings with some lovely exchanges.

Samuel Boakye came close in the half hour mark but his shot was saved by Kwame Baah.

Liberty Professionals grew up in the game and started taking the ball to the host.

Both side kept it tight till the blast of the first half whistle.

After the break, Liberty Professionals continued from where they left in the first half looking to draw the first blood.

Kweku Karikari gave a Liberty Professionals a deserved lead on the 50th minute finish home a cross in the penalty box.

Wonders huffed and puffed searching for the equalizer but Liberty defended gallantly on the day.

The Scientific Soccer lads kept it tight at the back until the blast of the final whistle.
