Match Report : Eleven Wonders 2-0 King Faisal – Laar Ibrahim’s brace hand Wonders a precious win
Eleven Wonders produced a spirited second half performance to beat King Faisal in the matchday 12 of the Ghana Premier League.
Two second half goals from Laar IBRAHIM handed the host a 2-0 win at the Ohene Ameyew Park.
King Faisal started the game very well and nearly get the opener but Jospeh Baah did well to denied Ibrahim Osman.
Mawuli Wayo three minutes later came close again but his shot went wide.
The host grew steadily in the game and came close through Ibrahim Laar but his shot went wide.
Eleven Wonders were denied again courtesy a Wonderful goalkeeping from Frank Boateng.
The king Faisal goalkeeper was the standout in the first half following another save to deny kumi from close range.
Both teams kept it tight and no goal was scored in the first half.
The host came back from the break pushing for the opener but King Faisal kept it tight.
Eleven Wonders finally got the breakthrough on the 71st, Laar Ibrahim captilized from a lose ball at the back to score from am empty net.
Wonders added the second eight minutes later, unmarked Laar Ibrahim connects in a corner to double his team lead.
