Match Report: Great Olympics 1-0 Elmina Sharks- Oly Dade back in the groove
Great Olympics are back in the groove following their 1-0 win over Elmina Sharks on Matchday 14 of the Ghana Premier League on Tuesday.
The Wonder Club bounced back from their disappointing defeat at Bechem United last week to end Sharks’ five game unbeaten streak.
Maxwell Nii Abbey’s solitary strike in the first half was enough to hand the home team maximum points at the Accra Sports Stadium.
He finished off a well-worked team goal in the 21st minute strike to secure the win.
The goal was his 5th for the club in the ongoing campaign.
The result takes Olympics up to 2nd on the standings, just a point adrift league leaders Karela United who have 25 points.
