Tarkwa based Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have been named as the FMIG Club of the Week following their Match Week 15 performance.
The Mauves and Yellow stole a march on Elmina Sharks to record a precious away win to close the gap on the top of the table.
Debutant Amed Toure bagged a brace as Medeama edged the encounter 2-1 at the Nduom Stadium on Sunday.
The win lifts Medeama SC to 5th position on the GPL standings. They now have 23 points 5 adrift of table toppers Karela United.
