Midfielder Moritz-Broni Kwarteng joins FC Magdeburg
German-born Ghanaian midfielder Moritz-Broni Kwarteng has joined German Bundesliga 3 club FC Magdeburg in the ongoing winter transfer window.
The combative midfielder joined FC Magdeburg after leaving Hamburger SV last summer. He went on trials at FC Magdeburg and the technical staff was pleased with his performance.
The club announced the signing of Kwarteng together with another new signing Tatsuya Ito.
“FC Magdeburg have signed Moritz-Broni Kwarteng and Tatsuya Ito. The last clubless Kwarteng was committed, Ito loaned. The two talents Leon Schmokel and Ole Hoch, on the other hand, are loaned out to the regional league club Germania Halberstadt.”
FC Magdeburg did not disclose the duration of Moritz-Broni Kwarteng’s contract. He will join the first team and help them cement their place on top of the league.
