MTN FA Cup final: We will whip Hearts of Oak on Sunday – Ashgold CEO Emmanuel Frimpong
The Chief Executive Officer of AshantiGold SC, Emmanuel Frimpong is confident his outfit will emerge as the winner of the MTN FA Cup.
The Miners will play Hearts of Oak who are the Ghana Premier League champions on Sunday.
Despite failing to improve their performance in the just-ended 20202/21 Ghana Premier League, Ashgold defeated Berekum Chelsea 3-1 in the semifinal staged at the Cape Coast Stadium.
With Samuel Boadu aiming to win a double with Hearts of Oak, Frimpong believes his side will triumph over the Phobians on Sunday.
“We are ready for the finals,” he said after their win over Berekum Chelsea.
“They have been saying Kwaku Frimpong who is is my father ‘de asem b3ba’ and indeed we will make we do that by beating Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
“We are poised to play in Africa next season and will beat Hearts of Oak on Sunday to win the trophy.
“After winning the trophy, we will organize a big party for the team,” he added.
The MTN FA Cup final has been scheduled to kick off at 17:00GMT.
