MTN FA Cup: Tema Youth 5-1 Inter Allies- Harbour Warriors pull of shock upset to knock out Capelli boys
Tema Youth staged the first major upset of the 2020/21 MTN FA Cup to mknock Inter Allies out of the competition.
The Division one-league side recorded a stunning 5-1 victory over the Premier League opposition at the Tema Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Stephen Appiah Asare opened the scoring for the home team early in the game before Emmanuel Owusu’s bullet to give them a 2-0 lead at half time.
Just ten minutes from the commencement of the second half, Tema Youth netted their third goal of the game .
Sunday Henry Kalu reduces the deficit for Allies in the 58th minute but the Habour Warriors restored their three-goal cushion in the 88th minute.
Before Team Youth put the icing on the cake in stoppage time to make it 5-1 and secure qualification into the next round of the competition.
